3.5.3 Pulse Duty Measurement
Setting Procedure
Use the CURSOR keys to move among items. Select a setting with the F1 to F8 keys.

Confirm the module

Confirm that the display is set for [F/V].

Select the measurement mode

Select [Duty].

Select the low-pass filter
[LPF]
To suppress high-frequency components, select a low-pass
filter within the input module (
⇒ p. 66).
[ Off, 5Hz, 500Hz, 5kHz or 100kHz ]

Select the probe attenuation
[Probe]
Select according to the cable or probe being used

Set the threshold level

Set the threshold level (⇒ p. 72).

Set pull-up
[Pull-Up]
Enable (set On) the pull-up resistance when connecting to an
open-collector output signal. Disable it (Off) for normal mea-
surements
(⇒ p. 71).

Set up scaling
Set as occasion demands.

The [Frequency] measurement mode is
selected upon system reset.
Pulse duty measurement
If a rising pulse (at 20 kHz or above) is applied during calculation (“dead time”),
the duty during the dead time cannot be measured. Duty is measured from the
pulse following the dead time.
