7.4 Composite Waveforms (X-Y Waveforms)

This applies to the Memory function only.
Any channels can be displayed as a composite during or after measurement. To
make a composite while measuring, measurement configuration settings and X-
Y composite have to be set before starting measurement. Refer to the appropri-
ate chapters for measurement configuration settings. This section describes the
composite waveform settings.

X-Y Waveforms
To open the screen: Press the SET key → Select with the SUB MENU keys →Sheet Settings screen

Composite setting is available both before and after measurement.
Operating Key Procedure

Set the Display Type.
CURSOR
Move the cursor to the [Display Type] item.
F1 to F8
Select either choice.

Set Split-Screen display (⇒ p. 172).
CURSOR
Move the cursor to the [Split-Screen] item.

Select the number of Graphs. (Available choices
depend on the Display Type setting.)

Set the Composite Area.

Move the cursor to the [Area] X-Y Composite
item.

Select either choice.

Set line interpolation (as occasion demands).

Move the cursor to the [Dot-Line] item.

X-Y Comp Displays X-Y waveforms.
Wave & X-Y Displays both X-Y composite and
analog waveforms.

Dots Do not interpolate straight lines. Input sig

display visibility, although the display
speed is slower than Dots display.
