Configuration Settings
Make settings on the Status Settings screen.
Measurement using different sampling rates is not available
with the Real-Time Saving function.
Press the SET key to open the Settings screen

Selecting channels to use
With the Real-Time Saving function, measure-
ment using different sampling rates simulta-
neously is not available. Also, the Model 8958
16-Ch Scanner Unit cannot be used.

Making settings for saving data
Set the save destination and file name.
Verify that there is adequate space available at
the save destination, and that the media is in-
stalled or inserted properly.

Make measurement waveform settings
Select the timebase (sampling rate) and re-
cording length (duration).
The data acquisition interval on the time axis is
set by the timebase or sampling rate setting.
Recording length can be set as a number of di-
visions or recording duration.

Make whole waveform settings
The timebase can be set automatically or man-
ually.

Set the trigger mode (recording method)
Select single (one-shot), continuous or timer.

You can verify the free space on the save destination and the file
size to be saved using the current settings. Also, the maximum re-
cording length can be set to match the free space on the save des-
tination storage media.
