WARNING
Disconnect All Electrical Power Sources And Turn Off
Gas To Super-Saver Heater Before Conducting
Modifications!
WARNING
DO NOT perform modifications while unit is HOT!
Allow unit to cool!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect electrical power and turn off the gas to the
Super-Saver Heater.
2. Disconnect the quick-connect receptacle to the
internal enclosure. Refer to Figure 1.

3. Loosen the receptacles two philips-head screws and
slide the braided wire sleeve away from the
receptacle. Refer to Figure 2.
4. Cut the yellow wire approximately 2” below the
receptacle, reassemble the sleeve and receptacle,
and reconnect to the enclosure. Refer to Figure 3.

5. Pull the yellow wire out of the opposite end of the wire
sleeve where the cord-set exits the heater.
6. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the internal
enclosures knock-out on the left side. Refer to
Figure 4.
7. Use needle-nose pliers to remove the CENTER
Yellow wire (FSI connection) from the electronic
module terminal block. Remove by pulling
STRAIGHT OUTWARD. Refer to Figure 5.

8. Cut this same Yellow wire approximately 1” from the
quick-connect male connector and discard this wire.
DO NOT CUT OTHER WIRES! Refer to Figure 6.
9. Reference the included parts list for a complete list of
components and descriptions. Refer to Figure 7 and
Table A.
