Routine Maintenance
DRAWER SLIDES: The drawer slides are lubricated during assembly and should not need additional
lubrication during the life of the product. Ball-bearing slides may need an occasional timing reset. To
reset the timing, simply open the drawer to its complete and fully extended position. This may require a
little extra pull force (be careful not to pull with excessive force).
LOCKS: To ensure proper function, occasionally cycle the key through the lock. Doing so will keep the
assembly properly lubricated. If debris becomes trapped in the slot, compressed air or WD-40® will help
free the debris.
Routine Cleaning for Painted & Polished Metal and Laminate Surfaces
1. Apply a small amount of a nonabrasive, common, household cleaner such as Windex®, Formula 409®,
or Fantastik® to a clean, dry, lint-free microfiber cloth or paper towel.
2. Rub on the areas that may need spot cleaning.
3. Wipe clean using a new, clean, dry, lint-free microfiber cloth or paper towel.
Cleaners may cause discoloration if left on the surface longer than suggested time or not removed
after cleaning.
Covid-19 Disinfection
For disinfecting hard surfaces against the COVID-19 virus the CDC recommends using diluted household
bleach solutions (2% bleach solution) or isopropyl alcohol solution (70% isopropyl).
Cleaning Instructions for Hard Surfaces: Leave cleaning solution on for at least 30 seconds but no longer
than 2 minutes. Thoroughly remove the solution from the surface with a clean cloth and warm water.
Bleach or alcohol solutions may cause discoloration if left on the surface longer than suggested time or
not removed after sanitizing.
