CABLE WITHOUT CONVERTER!

Use this connection if your cable system connects
directly to your TV/VCR without a converter box.
By using this connectionyou can:
1) Use the TV/VCR remote to select channels
2) Program one or more unscrambled channels for
Automatic Timer Recording.

When using an external input signal (another VCR or
camcorder), connect the player's audio/video output
cables to the AUDIO IN, VIDEO IN jacks of your
TV/VCR. Then press the
CHANNEL • or • button or AUX
enter "00" so that "AUX"
screen appears.
1) Press the tab in the direction of tile arrow.
2) Pivot the cover up as shown by tile mTOW.
3) Insert 2 "AAA" batteries into the battery compart-
rnent illtile directi an as indicated by the polarity (+/-)
tnarkings.
4) Replace the corm.
CAUTIONS:
• Do not subject the remote conlax_l to shocks such as
dropping it on _:he floor, etc. Precision parts may be
damaged.
• Avoid placing the remote control in humid places or
getting it wet. Do not leave it on or near a heater.
Extreme heat or moisture may cause the remote con-
trol to cease operation.
• If the batteries bezome weak, remote control opera-
tion may become erratic or stop altogether. Replace
the old batterie_ with two new "AAA" types.
