SEARCH
Make sure ...
• Use the remote control for this procedure.
• TV/VCR power must be turned on.
• Insert a tape.
Use this feature to memorize a beginning point that you
want to return to. And you can search it easily by rewind-
ing or fast forwarding.
NOTE: If the All Repeat or Blank Repeat is set to ON].
the Counter Memory, function does not work.
Stop a tape at your desired r_oinl
Rewind or fast forward the tape to the beginning point
at which you want to mark.
.? Reset the couqter to 0:;_0:OC
Press the COUNTER RESET button on the remote
control.

Press the REW (or F.FWD) button. The TV/VCR will button until 3'our desired time -
stop automatically when the counter has returned to appears. (Example: "2:50"
approximately 0:00:00. stands for 2 hours 50 minutes)_
TO CANCEL TIlE COUNTER MEMORY
First press the COUNTER MEMORY to display the
counter on the TV/VCR screen. Then press the
COUNTER MEMORY continuously until "COUNT"
appears.
The Time Search function mal_es it possible to quickly
advance the tape: to your desired position simply by
entering the exact _,mount of playback time you want to
skip.
NOTES:
e, Time Search can be set up to a maxinmm of 9 hours
50 nfinutes (9:50) by l0 minutes at a time.
• This function will not operate in the recording mode'.
• Counter Memory function is noI operalive in this
mode.
• This function is not operative when a cassette tape is
not inserted in the TV/VCR.
In the examph' belgw: To watch a. program after 2 hour
50 minutes from the present position, in either direction.

3 Begin Time Search
Ely pressing the, PEW or F.FWD bulton, the TV/VCR
will rewind or tasl forward to the specified pointx-
The time counts down as the searching progresses.
When 0:00 is reached, the tape will start playback
automatically.
TO CANCEL THE TIME SEARCH
Press the STOP/EJECT button on the TV/VCR or the
remote control. This will delete the selected time.
