RECORDING
Make sure ...
• TV/VCR power must be turned on.
• Insert a cassette tape with its erase prevention tab in place. (If necessary, rewind or fast forward the tape to the
point at which you want to begin recording.)
You can only watch the same TV program that is being
recorded.

Press the number buttons on the
remote control or the CHAN-
NEL • or • button.

Press the SPEED button to select
the desired tape speed (SP/LP/
SLP).
3 Begin recording
Press the RECORD button. The
REC indicator flashes.

4 Stop recording
Press the STOP button when recording is completed.
Press the PAUSE/STILL button _.....
to temporarily step recording. '....
The REC indicalor flashes. |
Press the PAUSFJSTILL or
RECORD button to resume
recording.
NOTES:
• After five minutes, the TV/VCR will automatically
switch to the Recording mode to prevent tape
damage.
• You may review the time remaining with I marks on
the TV screen. Each 1 mark represents one minute.
• If "CLOSED CAPTION [ON]" is selected from the
"CLOSED CAPTION SET UP" menu, the On-
Screen Display will appear for 5 seconds, then
disappear.
• If you want to check the remaining pause time
available using the On-Screen Display, press the
DISPLAY bLtton. The On-Screen Display again will
disappear after 5 seconds.
