Nederlands Betreffende het ontladen raken van nieuwe batterijen e.d. Aangezien bij nieuwe en langdurig niet gebruikte batterijen de chemische aktiviteit is teruggelopen, zal de stroomopbrengst bij het eerste en tweede gebruik slechts gering zijn. Dit is een tijdelijk verschijnsel; de normale oplaadtijd kan hersteld worden door de batterij 2 à 3 maal bij kamertemperatuur op te laden. Om langdurig gebruik van de batterij te bevorderen.
