4. Click Start when Ready appears on the firmware download screen.
Note:
• If the computer fails to detect the player after a few minutes, reset the player by depressing the reset
opening and try the above steps again.
• If Format Data Area is checked, the recovery utility reinstalls the firmware and formats the player.
Otherwise, the utility only reinstall the firmware.
• Firmware recovery is only available for Windows
®
2000/XP/ Vista OS users.
5. Firmware recovery finishes when Complete appears on the Firmware Download screen. Click Close.
