use. It is very dangerous for a nail to be fired by
mistake.
24. When removing a nail which has become stuck, make
sure to first of all disconnect the hose and release
compressed air.
When removing a nail which has become stuck in the
nail outlet, first of all make sure to disconnect the
hose and release compressed air inside the power
tool.
Accidental firing of the nail could be very dangerous.
25. A female plug (air socket) should not be used in the
body.
If a female plug is installed in the body, the
compressed air sometimes can not be drawn when
the hose is disconnected so avoid this.
The tool and air supply hose must have a hose
coupling such that all pressure is removed from the
tool when the coupling joint is disconnected.
26. Use only genuine HITACHI heat treated nails for
HITACHI NR50AK.
Use only genuine HITACHI heat treated nails of 4.0 ×
40 mm (.157 × 1-9/16") and 4.0 × 50 mm (.157 × 2") for
HITACHI NR50AK to avoid serious injury from
ricocheting nails.
NAIL SELECTION
The use of any other nails and non-heat treated nails
could result in dangerous tool malfunction and/or
nail malfunction, causing serious injury.
27. Only for installation purpose of pre-punched holed
metal connector to wood stud.
28. Before each firing, be sure to position and insert the
first nail point through the metal hole.
This tool and nails are designed for metal connector
with pre-punched holes.
Drive nails into work surface only; never into materials
too hard to penetrate.
If the nail is not positioned and insert properly, it
could ricochet and hurt yourself or someone.
If you are not sure to position and insert the nail
through the metal hole, never drive nails.
Never drive nails into metal. Only drive into pre-
punched metal holes.
29. Always point first nail protruded from nose away
from yourself and others.
Keep your face, hands, feet and other body parts, as
well as those of other persons away from the nose
muzzle to avoid possible injury during use and
carrying.
