6.1.10 Address Initialization
This function can be used to initialize the indoor units addresses,
cancelling the settings done with the “Indoor Unit Address
Change” function.
Using this function, the indoor units addresses will be restored
as the addresses set physically on the indoor units PCB by DSW
setting. In case DSW settings have not been done, temporary
automatic addresses will be attributed to the units.
? NOTE
• After the indoor address is initialized, turn off the power of the indoor
unit. After all indicators on the remote controller are OFF, turn ON the
power of the indoor unit again.
• Address initialization cannot be performed for indoor units that are
not connected physically to the remote controller through the A/B
terminals (remote controller without remote control line).
1 Select “Address Initialization”on the “Installation Menu”
screen and press “OK”.
2 Press “ ”, “ ”, “ ” or “ ” to select the indoor unit. Press “OK”.
? NOTE
• Only the indoor units compatible with “Address initialization” function
can be selected.
• Even if “All” is selected, the address of the indoor unit that does not
support the Address Initialization function cannot be initialized.
3 Select “Yes” and press “OK”. The address initialization
processing starts.
? NOTE
When the indoor unit address is changed successfully, connection
checking process starts.
4 Select “Complete” and press “OK”.
5 Step5. To initialize another indoor unit address, select
“Continue” and press “OK” to return to Step2.
