NOTE:
The turbo mode turns off automatically and
returns to the previous mode after 10 seconds
in order to protect the electronic circuitry.
Press the turbo mode switch again to switch
back to the turbo mode.
About Remaining Battery Indicator
If you press and hold the turbo mode switch /battery
remaining switch, the battery remaining lamp(s) light
(red), allowing you to check how much battery power
is remaining. When you release the battery remaining
switch, the lamp(s) go out. The number of lamps lit
correspond to remaining battery levels as follows.
CAUTION
Never hit or subject the switch panel to strong shocks.
Doing so will damage it.
NOTE:
To conserve the battery, the lamps only light when
the battery remaining switch is pressed.
Unless a battery is mounted to the blower and the
switch is pressed once, the lamps will not light even
if the battery remaining switch is pressed.
Work Capacity on a Full Charge
The following is a rough estimate of the amount of
work provided by the blower when on a full charge.
(The amount of work varies somewhat due to ambient
temperature and characteristics of the battery)

BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Battery removal
Hold the handle tightly and push the battery latch
(2 pcs.) to remove the battery (see Figs. 1 and 2).
CAUTION
Never short-circuit the battery.
2. Battery installation
Insert the battery while observing its polarities (see
Fig. 2).
CHARGING
Before using the power tool, charge the battery as follows.
1. Connect the charger’s power cord to a receptacle.
When connecting the plug of the charger to a
receptacle, the pilot lamp will blink in red. (At 1-
second intervals)
2. Insert the battery into the charger.
Firmly insert the battery into the charger until the line
is visible, as shown in Fig. 3, 4.
3. Charging
When inserting a battery in the charger, charging will
commence and the pilot lamp will light continuously
in red.
When the battery becomes fully recharged, the pilot
lamp will blink in red. (At 1-second intervals) (See
Table 1)
(1) Pilot lamp indication
The indications of the pilot lamp will be as shown in
Table 1, according to the condition of the charger or
the rechargeable battery.
