ADDITIONAL OPERATIONS
OSD (√) or (—)
Press to change the On-Screen Display
setting.
(√): Whenever you change the mode, the new
mode, programme number, date, time and
tape speed are automatically displayed on
the TV screen for a few seconds.
(—): Nothing will be displayed on the TV screen
even when the VCR is operated.
Notes:
• If the DISP button is pressed , eventhough
OSD "on (√)" or "off (–)" is set, the on-
screen display will appear for a few
seconds.
• When the DISP button is pressed again
before the display disappears, it will
change the VCR's display between the
clock time display and time counter
display.
Note: When a NTSC tape is played, no
operation mode will appear on the TV screen
regardless of the OSD on (√) or off (–) setting.
AUTO BLUE (√) or (—)
Press to change the auto blue setting.
(√): The TV screen becomes blue when receiving
a channel on which a signal is not being
broadcast or a channel on which a weak
signal is being broadcast.
(—): The TV screen does not become blue.
Note: If no picture appears when a
programme is received, specify the AUTO
BLUE option as (–).
AUTO CLOCK (√) or (—)
Press to change the auto clock setting.
(√): The clock will be set automatically when the
VCR is tuned to a channel which transmits a
PDC signal.
(—): The clock will need to be set manually.
