1) To enter the beltpack menu, press and hold the Menu key.
2) Use the rotary and Menu Select keys to select Settings > Mic Options
> Mic Type.
3) Use either rotary control to select between:
 Automatic (default)
 Electret
 Dynamic Unbalanced
4) To confirm the selection and exit the menu screen, press the Menu
Select key (D).
Note: If automatic headset detection is ON:
 Dynamic headset is detected if microphone impedance is between 90 –
320 Ohms
 Electret headset is detected if microphone impedance is between 1.3 – 6.5
kOhms.
8.4.2 Setting the microphone echo cancellation
Use this setting to improve the microphone audio quality.
1) To enter the beltpack menu, press and hold the Menu key.
2) Use the rotary and Menu Select keys to select Settings > Mic Options
> Echo Cancellation.
3) Use either rotary control to select between:
 On
 Off (default)
4) To confirm the selection and exit the menu screen, press the Menu
Select key.
8.5 Configuring the beltpack display and LEDs
You can configure the following display options:
 Display brightness level
 Display dim timeout
 Display off timeout
