Move the trim sliders for the controls as they are
assignedonyourtransmitter.Familiarizeyourselfwith
your transmitter’s controls and the aircraft’s response
beforeyingbyperformingtherecommendedControl
DirectionTest.
Elevator trim:
Trimtheelevatorat50%-60%throttle.Whentheelevator
istrimmedcorrectly,youraircraftwillylevelathalf
throttle, climb steadily above half throttle and descend
belowhalfthrottle.
• Iftheaircraft’snosedriftsupordownwhilethe
elevatorstickisatneutral(centered)position,
movetheelevatortrimsliderbyoneortwo“click”
incrementsintheSAMEdirectionasthedrift.
Aileron trim:
Whentrimmedcorrectly,youraircraftieswithwings
level.
• Iftheaircraftdriftsleftorrightwhentheaileronstick
isatneutral(centered)position,movetheailerontrim
sliderbyoneortwo“click”incrementsOPPOSITEthe
direction of roll.
Ifyoumustusemorethan8“clicks”onatrimsliderto
maketheaircraftystraightandlevel,landandadjusta
controlsurfaceasdescribedbelow.
Performmanualadjustmentoftrimbeforeincreasing
thethrottleabove25%orSAFEwillmovethecontrol
surfaceswhentheaircraftismoved.
Return any trim setting on the transmitter to neutral
by pushing the trim slider to the middle position, then
adjusting the clevis on that control surface to position it
thesameasitwaswiththetrimslideroffset.
1. Remove the clevis from the control horn.
2. Turntheclevis(asshown)tolengthenorshortenthe
pushrod.
3. Closetheclevisontothecontrolhornandslidethe
tubetowardsthehorntosecuretheclevis.
