If the ame goes out again, it will immediately
be re-ignited during the closing time of the
safety pilot (approx. 30 seconds).
If no ame is ignited, the automatic ignitor will
continue to work until the operation handle
j
is switched to “0”.
Changing batteries on the automatic
ignitor
If you cannot hear any ignition sparks or only
hear them in intervals of more than one second,
then you must insert a new battery.
Ensure that the heating has been switched
off.
Remove the radiator cover (see Truma opera-
ting instructions).
Push the cover of the battery compartment
up and exchange the battery (take special
note of plus and minus).
Close the battery compartment.
Reattach the external panel.
Use only a temperature-resistant (+70° C) and
leakproof mignon battery.
During initial operation of the heating
system, there will be a slight nui-
sance caused by smoke and odours.
Immediately turn the operating
handle
j
on the heating to position
5“ and set the circulation fan to the
highest position. Open all doors and
windows and air the caravan well.
The smoke and odours will disperse
after a short while.
To shut off
Turn the operation handle
j
to position "0".
The automatic ignitor is thereby shut off.
Switch off the fan (set the rotary switch to "0").
Close the bottle valve and the quick-close
valve if the unit is not used for a longer period
of time.
Insert new batteries before the begin-
ning of each heating season.
