7. Installation of electrical devices

is located directly on the battery container. It is
usedtodisconnectthebatteryfromthe12Velectricalsystem.
Atthesametime,thisbuttonservesasa30Aautomaticcircuit
breaker.
If the caravan is not used for a longer period of time, please dis-
connect the battery from the electrical system in order to prevent
thebatteryfrombeingexcessivelydischarged.
•Beforeeachjourney,pleasecheckthatthebatteryis
charged(see p. 60).Ifnecessary,connectittothemains
and press the main switch to start charging the battery.
•Leavethemainswitchonwheneverthecaravanisbeing
used so that the battery is charged regularly.
•Donotforgettoactivatethepushbuttononthebattery
container.
•Useeveryopportunityduringyourjourneytocharge
the battery.
•Thebatterylosesitscapacityafterhavingbeenused
for a while and at low temperatures.
• Anacousticwarningsignalwillbegivenoiftheremai-
ning time during discharge operation is less than 1 hour.
•Ifthebatteryvoltageshouldbelessthan10.0V,all
deviceswillautomaticallybeswitchedo.
•Awarningwillgooifthebatteryagestoavalueless
than50%ofitsnominalcapacity.
• Ifthevehicleisnotinuseforalongerperiodoftime,
the battery should be disconnected or the main switch
shouldbeswitchedoafterthebatteryhasbeenopti-
mally charged.
7.4 Electrical system
As soon as there is a mains connection, the electrical system will
switch from battery operation to mains operation.
Theelectricalsupplyunitusesaconvertertotransformtheexternal
mainsvoltageforthe12Voltelectricaldevices.
Allofthelampsinthecamperuse12V.Onlylargeelectricaldevices
suchasthetherme,oorheating,airconditioner,etc.,use230V.
