Setup Guide Windows

Windows setup guide for the Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6Ch Tx USB Cable
(tested with Turingy T6A-V2 Tx)
TO PROGRAM THE Tx YOU NEED TO:
1. Find, download and install drivers for the cable (USB to UART Bridge) based on the description of
the device in device manager, mine is "Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge" and these drivers
work for it: https://www.silabs.com/products/development-tools/software/usb-to-uart-bridge
-
vcp-drivers.
2. Download the T6config app from Flysky (https://www.flysky-cn.com/s/CT6B-xrtz.rar) or Digital
Radio, which is better and, if youre going to use the cable also as a simulator cable, youre going to
need it anyway
(http://www.sgr.info/usbradio/default.htm, demo version is free and works OK, full
version costs USD 2please buy it to support the developer).
Note: If you want to program the Tx, it is important to first plug the cable in the computer, then power
on the Tx and only then connect the cable to the Tx, otherwise the config apps will fail to sync with the
TX.
TO USE THE CABLE AS A SIMULATOR CABLE:
3. If you want to use it as a simulator cable, you have to install two third party apps (besides the cable
drivers, of course):
the first one is vJoy (http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php
- the latest version works
fine, you do NOT need old PPjoy-compatible versions), which creates a virtual joystick in your
system;
the second one is Digital Radio (described above in step 2), which can forward the signal from
the Tx to vJoy, which then serves it to windows as a joystick signal. Digital Radio app needs to
be running and the joystick mode in it has to be toggled on in order to use the Tx to control a
simulator.
