Switching Off the skeye.pad XSL

The skeye.pad XSL is suspended.
If the power supply was not interrupted e.g. due to a
discharged storage battery the data will be available again
when you switch on/start the device.
2.6.2 Complete Power Off by Removing the Storage Battery
Completely power off your skeye.pad XSL in the following
situations:
• when you do not operate your skeye.pad for a longer period of
time (storage battery saving)
• when entering an aircraft
• in explosive areas
• when shipping the skeye.pad XSL
Removing the storage battery will delete the RAM after a while.
In this case, all data in the RAM e.g. installed programs,
settings, or stored files are lost!
In case of a complete charged puffer (charging time about 20 min)
data is maintained in the RAM for 90 s.
If the buffer is not completely loaded, the time decreases
correspondingly.
We recommend that you perform the following tasks before you
remove the storage battery:
• Store important data in the "FlashStorage" folder of your
skeye.pad XSL (see chapter 5.2.2).
• Mirror your data via ActiveSync to your desktop PC (see
chapter 7.2 ff.)
• Back up your data via SysBackup (see chapter 5.2)
