This letter will detail the contribution of HOLDRITE® HydroFlame™ firestopping materials to the
LEED Green Building Rating System In accordance with LEED-NC, CS, CI and School Rating
Systems.
MR Credit 2.1: Construction Waste Management, Divert 50% form Disposal
MR Credit 2.2: Construction Waste Management, Divert 75% form Disposal
In areas where facilities exist, the following HOLDRITE® HydroFlame™ materials are recyclable
and can contribute to earning Materials and Resources Credit 2.1 or Credit 2.2.
• Carton Cardboard 2 lbs. / carton
• 10.3 oz cartridge HDPE 40 grams / cartridge
• 20.2 oz sausage pack Mylar 5 grams / pack
• 30 oz cartridge HDPE 98 grams / cartridge
• 5 gallon bucket HDPE 934 grams / bucket
• Wooden pallet wood 45 lbs. / pallet

EQ Credit 4.2: Low Emitting Materials, Paints and Coatings
The volatile organic content (VOC) of HOLDRITE® HydroFlame™ firestopping products and
materials are listed below for products that are lower than the minimum LEED requirements for
low-emitting materials. These materials can help contribute to earning Indoor Environmental
Quality EQ Credit 4.1 and 4.2. HOLDRITE® HydroFlame™ 300 series silicone sealant in both
caulk grade and self-leveling VOC based on EPA Method 24 test (g/L) and is <5% per EPA
Method 310 testing.
