TESTRITE® System Installation (base version without 3/4” threads or valve) 1 Remove the Cleanout Plug. 4 Open stem by turning counterclockwise. Drain system completely. Remove Test Wedge.*** 2 3 Insert Test Wedge and reinstall Spanner Ring. Turn the stem to the closed position, turning clockwise until tight. Perform test.*** 5 6 Reinstall Cleanout Plug. Test complete! ***WARNING: Avoid potential damage or injury - close Spanner Ring securely and DO NOT open while under pressure.

How to properly operate the TESTRITE® Test Wedge with Valve 2 1 3a Consider Pressure Direction Wedge Fit Fill Method 1 Always install Test Wedge with valve into the Test/Cleanout Tee with the pressure side up. Always hand tighten (clockwise) the fill/drain stem into the Test Wedge until it is snug. (Filling from Above) 3b 4a Turn rotor valve to the closed position, then fill the pipe stack.
