SET-UP AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR LED CHRISTMAS SIGN
THIS PRODUCT INCLUDES A REMOVABLE “TRY-ME” BUTTON THAT IS INTENDED FOR IN-STORE
DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY. THE “TRY-ME” BUTTON SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE CHRISTMAS
SIGN AFTER PURCHASE AS SHOWN IN DIAGRAM.
SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS:
Assembling the LED Christmas Sign. Carefully remove the contents from the box. Reference Diagram for the
following steps:
Step 1: Turn the support pole clockwise into hole of the base.
Step 2: Turn the “Merry and Brigh” sign clockwise into the top of the support pole.
Step 3: When the LED Christmas Sign is fully assembled it can be lifted into place and secured to the
ground by using the 3 Ground Stakes that are included with the Christmas Sign. The Ground
Stakes should be hammered into the ground in order to give the assembled Christmas Sign
adequate support. The LED Christmas Sign is now fully assembled and ready for use.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT & ITEM FUNCTION:
Requires (3) AA batteries, sold separately. Please note that the included batteries are for in-store TRY-ME demonstra-
tion purposes only. Batteries should be replaced after purchase with alkaline batteries to ensure the item’s proper
operation.
1. Carefully remove product from package, and properly discard of any fasteners, tags or bags with care.
2. Battery compartment is located on the bottom of the sign.
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the safety screw and then remove the battery compartment cover.
4. Clean both ends of the battery contacts and also the contacts of the device prior to installing the batteries.
5. Insert (3) AA batteries with correct polarity as indicated.
6. Return battery case cover and replace safety screw
7. The ON/OFF switch is located on the side of the sign. Move the switch to the "ON" position to activate the LED
lights and the timer feature, which will automatically turn lights on for 6 hours and will shut off for 18 hours. Switch
to the "OFF" position to activate the "Try-Me" feature and then press the "Try-Me" button for demonstration.
Note: When the power switch is placed in the “ON” or in the “OFF” positon, this will reset the “TIMER FEATURE”.
The “TIMER FEATURE” will automatically turn the LED Christmas Sign on for 6 hours and then turn it off fo
r 18
hours.
8. Replace batteries if the LED lights become dim.
BATTERY USAGE:
ADULT SUPERVISION IS RECOMMENDED WHEN CHANGING BATTERIES.
1. Do not mix old and new batteries. 2. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmi-
um) batteries. 3. Alkaline batteries are suggested for longer life. 4. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the
product. 5. Dispose of exhausted batteries with care. 6. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or
leak.
CAUTION: Please remove batteries if their power is consumed or if the product is to be left unused for a long period
of time.
RECYCLE YOUR BATTERIES: To help protect our environment, we recommend that all batteries be recycled. You
can find a local recycling center by going to: http://earth911.com/hazardous/single-use-batteries/ Or, in the United
States call 1-800-CLEANUP for a recycling location near you.
IMPORTANT: This product can be powered by a UL Listed, 4.5Volt 0.2A adapter (included) in place of using batteries.
Adapter should be plugged into 100V-240V household outlet. Remove batteries when using an AC/DC adapter.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All warnings in these operating instructions should be followed.
2. Do not use near water such as bathtub, laundry tub, kitchen sink, wet basement or swimming pool, etc.
3. Do not place item near any heat source such as radiators, stoves, fireplaces, etc.
4. This item should be serviced by a qualified service person only. Do not attempt to service this unit beyond what is
described in the operating instructions.
5. Take extra care when displaying any item that may contain small parts around small children.
6. Display this item on a steady level surface.
7. Do not leave unsupervised. Always provide adult supervision.
TO STORE: Retain box for storage and future reference. Save these instructions for future reference. Store product in
a dry place away from direct sunlight.

particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or experienced radio/TV technician for help.
