Assembly 1 Preparing the base BB Locate the Base Rails (B, C, D, E) and place on a flat surface. AA Insert Bolts (BB) through the two-hole Plastic Connector Blocks (AA) on each rail as shown. Tighten with the Phillips screwdriver. E C D B 2 Connecting the base panels Align the Base Left Side Rail (B) with the Base Back Rail (C) and push together. Secure with the Bolts (BB) using a Phillips screwdriver. Repeat to attach the Base Right Side Rail (D).
Assembly (continued) 3 Attaching the front base panel Align the Base Front Rail (E) with the previously assembled base rails from step 2. BB Secure with Bolts (BB) using a Phillips screwdriver. E D 4 Assembling the base Locate the Bottom Shelf (A) and place upside down on a flat surface. AA Attach the assembled base rails from step 3 to the bottom of the Bottom Shelf (A) by inserting Bolts (BB) through the two-hole Plastic Connector Blocks (AA). Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.
Assembly (continued) 5 Attaching the decorative base panel Locate the Decorative Base Panel (F). Insert Bolts (CC) through the Flat Washers (DD) to secure the Decorative Base Panel (F). Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. DD CC E F 6 Installing the USB port Locate the Center Shelf (H). Slide the USB output (EE) through the opening in the Center Shelf (H). Carefully secure the USB output (EE) in place using Screws (FF) and a Phillips screwdriver. FF EE H 11 HOMEDEPOT.
Assembly (continued) 7 Attaching the door catch Locate the Left Partition (I) and the Right Partition (J). Attach the Magnetic Spring Door Catches (GG) to the Left Partition (I) and the Right Partition (J). Secure each catch using Screws (HH) where indicated by the diagram. HH GG J I 8 Attaching the center assembly Align the Center Shelf (H) between the Left and Right Partitions (I and J).
Assembly (continued) 9 Attaching the base Align the holes on the edges of the Center Assembly (H) with the holes on the Bottom Shelf (A). Insert Screws (II) through the Bottom Shelf (A) and into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the center assembly as shown. Securely tighten all screws using a Phillips screwdriver. H A II 10 Securing the surround brackets Find the pre-attached metal plate bracket behind the top surround rail.
Assembly (continued) 11 Attaching the side panels Align the Left and Right Side Panels (K and L) with the Bottom Shelf (A). Insert Screws (II) through the Bottom Shelf (A) and into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the Left and Right Side Panels (K and L) as shown. Securely tighten using a Phillips screwdriver. L K A II 12 Attaching the top front rail Locate the Top Front Rail (P).
Assembly (continued) 13 Attaching the top front rail Align the plastic connector blocks on the Top Front Rail (P) with the pre-drilled holes on the Right Partitions (I and J) and Side Panels (K and L) . Secure the Top Front Rail (P) to the Side Panels (K and L) by screwing Bolts (BB) through the plastic connector blocks and into the pre-drilled holes on the Side Panels (K and L). Tighten Bolts (BB) with a Phillips screwdriver.
Assembly (continued) 15 Attaching the top panel Place the Top Panel (G) on top of the main assembly while aligning the pre-installed screws with the screw holes on the edges of the main assembly. After inserting the screws (BB) into the holes, tighten the fasteners from underneath the Top Panel (G) using a Phillips Screwdriver as shown. G BB 16 Securing the top front rail Secure the top front rail to the main assembly by fastener through the plastic connector blocks and into the side panels.
Assembly (continued) 17 Securing the back panels Place the Back Panel Brackets (MM) between the back panels and the grooves of the assembly as shown. Fasten each Back Panel Bracket (MM) using Screws (LL). Repeat until all brackets are securely in place as indicated by the diagram. LL MM 18 Assembling the rolling doors Locate the Left and Right Rolling Doors (Q and R). Place the Rolling Door Hangers (NN) on the outside of the Left Rolling Door (Q).
Assembly (continued) 19 Attaching the door handles Each Door Handle (PP) has pre-attached screws. Remove these screws and place the Door Handles (PP) over the predrilled holes in each Rolling Door (Q and R). Place the pre-attached screws on the other side of each Rolling Door (Q and R) and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver through the door and into the Door Handle (PP). OO Place the Door Bumpers (OO) on the inner edge of each Rooling Door (Q and R) as indicated. Simply pull off the adhesive and stick.
Assembly (continued) 21 Attaching the track guide From the back of the unit, insert Screws (RR) through the Sliders (QQ) and into the pre-drilled holes in each Rolling Door (Q and R). R Q QQ 22 Attaching door stoppers Insert the Bolts (TT) through the roller track to secure the Door Stoppers (SS).
Assembly (continued) 23 Attaching the cabinet doors Locate the Left and Right Cabinet Doors (S and T). VV Attach the Right and Left Pin Hinges (UU and V V ) to the main assembly. Slide the Left Cabinet Door (S) into the grooves and insert Screws (WW) to secure into place. UU Repeat to attach the Right Cabinet Door (T). UU T VV WW S 24 Inserting the adjustable shelves Locate the four Adjustable Shelves (U).
Assembly (continued) 25 Installing the fireplace insert Lift the Fireplace Insert (O) carefully into the back of the unit and center in the fireplace insert opening. Do not drag the Fireplace Insert (O) across the base as it may scratch your unit. O 26 Securing the fireplace insert Align the Metal Brackets (ZZ) behind the fireplace Insert (O) and above the pre-drilled holes. Secure with the mounting Screws (YY) on both sides.
Assembly (continued) 27 Installing the tipping restraint hardware When the Tipping Restraint Hardware (KK) is properly installed, it can provide protection against unexpected tipping of the Unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. Wall Each Tipping Restraint Hardware (KK) includes one Unit Anchor, one Wall Anchor, one Anchor Tether, and four Anchor Screws. Use these to complete the following steps for a proper installation. Locate a secure wall stud behind the unit closest to the left side.
Operation Operation NOTE: The control panel can be accessed at the upper-right corner of the insert. 1 Powering the fireplace 2 Push the Power button to supply power to all functions of the fireplace and put the insert in a standby mode. Push the Power button again to turn off all functions.
Operation (continued) 5 Replacing the remote control battery 6 Disposing of used batteries The battery may contain hazardous substances that could endanger the environment and human health. When the remote control stops operating or its range seems reduced, it is time to replace the battery with new ones. On the back end of the remote, press and slide the battery door open and remove the old battery.
Operation (continued) 8 Patented Safer Plug® information This product is equipped with a Safer Plug®, which is an advanced safety device that helps detect electrical fires caused from faulty outlets. Overloading of outlets, adapters and surge protectors may cause overheating, damage, and increased risk of fires. The Safer Plug continuously monitors the temperature in the plug and outlet and will turn off the heater to prevent unsafe outlet overheating.

Troubleshooting PROBLEM Fireplace stopped heating before reached desired temperature. ROOT CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION Fireplace has reached set temperature. Temperature around fireplace might be a few degrees higher than other area in the room. Set the fireplace to a higher temperature or always “on”. Display shows " " The thermostat sensor is broken or disconnected. Unplug the fireplace, remove the back panel of the fireplace and check that the thermostat is plugged into the main circuit board.
Troubleshooting (continued) PROBLEM Flame effect works but heater function does not and the emberbed flashes when the Heater button is pressed. ROOT CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION The heater is disabled. With the power on press and hold the Power button on the control panel for 10 seconds. Once re-enabled the emberbed lights will flash multiple times. There are no batteries. Change the remote batteries. The signal is poor. Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace.
