Installation
1
Installing
t
he mounting plate to the
outlet box
2
Connecting wires
Mount the cross bar (CC) to the outlet box using the two
provided outlet box screws (BB). The side of the cross bar (CC)
marked GND must face out.
Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white wire
from the outlet box, and the black wire from the fixture to the
black wire from the outlet box. Cover the two wire
connections using the two provided wire connectors (EE).
Wrap the two wire connections with electrical tape for a more
secure connection. If your outlet box has a ground wire
(green or bare copper), connect the fixtures ground wire to
it using the wire connector (EE). Otherwise connect the
copper ground from the fixture to the ground screw (DD) on
the cross bar (CC).
NOTE: If you have electrical questions, consult your local
electrical code for approved grounding methods.

Mounting the fixture body on the
wall

Replacing
Mount the body of the fixture on the wall by aligning the
protruding mounting screws (GG) all the way through the
holes on the back plate (E). Be careful not to pinch any of
the wires between the fixture and the outlet Box. Put the
rubber washer (HH) and then tighten the fixture to the wall
by screwing the two cap nuts (FF) onto the two protruding
mounting screws (GG).
Once the fixture is mounted on the wall, caulk the space
between the wall and the upper 3/4 area of the fixture to
prevent water seeping into the outlet box. Leave the
bottom 1/4 area un-caulked for drainage of any water
which might leak into the enclosure.
CAUTION: Be careful not to pinch any of the wires
between the fixture and the outlet box.
The fixture glass is pre-assembled. To replace the glass,
loosen the screws (AA) and carefully take the broken glass
off.
Put the new glass shade (D) into the frame (B), then secure
the screws (AA) back on the fixture (A).
If the light bulb was broken, loosen the screws (AA) and
install the new light bulb to the lamp holder [not included] in
accordance with the fixtures specifications. Then secure
the screws (AA) back on the fixture (A). (DO NOT EXCEED
THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!!)
