Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The fireplace does
not operate.
The power light is ON but
the flame effect is not

Make sure the fireplace is plugged in
to a standard 120V outlet.
Check additional appliances on the
circuit; ideally the fireplace should be
on a dedicated 15-amp circuit.

disconnected.
Unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug back in
for normal operation in accordance with the Use
and Care Guide.
The rotating flame reflector shaft
rubbing against the housing.
The flame reflector shaft motor is
defective.
Open the back of the firebox and reposition the flame
reflector shaft. Turn off the unit prior to servicing.
