Do I need to register my unit for
warranty?
No. Since the product is a Home Depot exclusive product, you do not need
to register for warranty. The proof of purchase (receipt) should be kept if
you need to claim for warranty in the future.
Is this unit an infrared heater?
Yes, it is.
What is the clearance requirement
to safely place the fireplace?
Can I install the fireplace into the
wall?
No. The fireplace can only be flush mounted on the wall or use the base in
the package.
Can I use the logs and rocks
together in my fireplace?
No. The rocks and logs should be used separately.
Why does my Twin Star Fireplace
flash every time I push the heat
button?
Your heat function is disabled when the unit flashes. Hold the power button
down for 10 seconds to re-enable your heat function. (Must be done
manually from control panel)
How do I power on my fireplace?
Power on your Fireplace manually from the control panel. (To view control
panel and the functions please refer to manual)
How do I clean the front glass to
my fireplace?
You can clean the glass with soap and water.
Can I use my heat function with the
flame/log effect off?
No. Your flame/log set will still glow in the lowest setting as long as your
heat function is on. This is a safety feature on your fireplace.
Can I use my fireplace without the
heat function?
Yes. Your remote will power the heat function on and off. You can also turn
the heat function on manually from the control panel.
How do I change the digital
temperature readout between
Fahrenheit and Celsius?
Push and hold the power button on the control panel for 3 seconds or until
the readout changes. You cannot use the remote control to do this.
