Attaching the light kit tter assembly Installing the shatter resistant bowl
□ Remove one screw (PP) from the light kit pan (F) and loosen
but do not remove the other two screws.
□ Connect the wires from the light kit tter assembly (G) to
the wires from the light kit fan (F) by connecting the molded
adaptor plugs together. Carefully tuck all wires and splices
into the switch cup.
□ Push the light kit tter assembly (G) up to the light kit fan
(F) so that the two loosened screw heads t into the keyhole
slots. Turn the light kit tter assembly (G) clockwise.
□ Re-install the screw (PP) that was removed in step 1.
□ Make sure all the screws are firmly tightened.
□ Place the shatter resistant bowl (H) into the light kit pan (F),
aligning the three at areas on the top ange of the shatter
resistant bowl (H) with the raised dimples in the light kit pan.
□ Turn the shatter resistant bowl (H) clockwise until it stops.
□ Attach the pull chain extensions (DD) to the fan pull chains and
light pull chains.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect
the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the
light kit.

completely before removing.

NOTE: Notice the location of the fan’s slide switch. This is the
switch used to change the fan’s directional rotation. For more
information on the operation of this switch, see Operatiing
your fan on page 11.
CAUTION: Make sure the power is off before attaching or
removing the shatter resistant bowl.
