Installing the mounting strap
□ Screw the nipple (AA) and hex nuts (DD) onto the mounting
strap (CC).
□ Use a drill with a #29 (ø.136) (3.5 mm) bit to create a hole in
the junction box. Then attach a flat washer (FF) and the
support cable on the fixture canopy (A1) onto the junction
box using a screw (EE). Secure tightly.
□ Install the mounting strap (CC) to the junction box using the
junction box screws (not provided).

Connecting the wires
□ (Optional) Shorten the chain length and wires to your
desired hanging length.
□ Thread the wires through one of the stems (LL) and chain
loops (KK). Then screw the stems (LL) onto the fixture (A)
and secure tightly with two chain loops (KK). Weave the
wires through the chain (JJ) and fixture canopy (A1). Open
a chain link at each end of the chains (JJ) and attach both
ends of the chains (JJ) to the chain loops (KK). Close the
chain links.
□ Strip 3/8 in. of insulation from the wire ends of the fixture.
□ Using wire nuts (BB), connect the RIBBED fixture wire to the
white (neutral) supply wire from the junction box. Then
connect the SMOOTH fixture wire to the black (live) supply
wire from the junction box.
□ Connect the green (ground) wire from the junction box and
the green (ground) wire from the fixture to the ground
screw on the mounting strap (CC). Tighten the ground
screw to secure both ground wires to the mounting plate
(CC).
□ Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts
(BB), and ensure they are secure. Then push all wire
connections into the outlet box.
