This Carpet style will random Match at the seams.
SIDE SEAMS
Duplicate the above procedure for other edge of carpet.
If satisfied with fit apply seam sealer to both cut edges and allow to dry.
CROSS SEAMS Keep all cross seams to a minimum
Apply seam sealer to both cut edges and allow to dry.
Use a premium quality seam tape to seam edges together, using a round seam roller to roll up and down seam, hold seam flat
using a seam weight while seam is cooling down.
Allow seam to completely cool down before stretching.
SEAMING INSTRUCTIONS
Using a row finder find and separate a row down the length of the carpet approx. 1" from the edge.
Use a cushion back cutter to cut along the separated row of yarn.
Pull both edges together and check seam for proper fit.
Use a premium quality seaming tape to seam edges together and follow with a round wheel seam roller rolling up and down
the seam , then follow with a seam weight to hold seam flat while cooling down.
Always move seaming iron in the direction of pile lay, set thermostat at 3 to 3 1/2 on iron, allow seam to completely cool down
before stretching.
This product has a linear pattern look and its best to allow an extra pattern length for matching up the pattern.
on a slight angle under cutting the face fibers.
Now position this edge on top of the other edge and move them up or down or side to side to obtain the best possible match
if satisfied with match, using the trimmed as a guide cut along the previous trimmed edge, remove the scrap and check seam for
proper fit and match.
On the piece of carpet with pile lay towards the seam position a 6 ft. straight edge on face of the carpet and use a carpenter
square to line up the straight edge across the carpet.
Now with blade in the cushion back cutter retracted, push the cutter back and forth along the straight edge this will separate
the face yarns
Now using a very sharp blade in the cushion back cutter, cut the carpet using the straight edge as a guide, holding the cutter
