Do I need to register my ceiling fan
for warranty?
□ No. Since the ceiling fan is a Home Depot exclusive product, you do not
need to register for warranty. The proof of purchase (receipt) should be kept
if you need to claim for warranty in the future.
Can my fan be flush mounted?
No. This ceiling fan cannot be flush mounted.
Can this fan be mounted on a
sloped, angled, or vaulted ceiling?
□ Yes. You can mount this ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling. The maximum
angle allowable is 18°. You may need a longer downrod to maintain proper
blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. To mount the
ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling with larger angle, you may need to purchase
a Westinghouse adapter, which can be found online at
www.homedepot.com with # 204712641.
What size downrod can I use with
this fan?
□ A ¾” downrod with threaded one end should be used with this ceiling fan.
The minimum length of the downrod is 4.5” (packed in box), and the
maximum length is 72” (downrod with different length options can be found
online at www.homedepot.com).
Can I have a brighter LED
assembly for my light?
□ No. The LED assembly is integrated in the unit, you cannot have a brighter
one. However, you can adjust the brightness by press and hold the “bulb”
button on the remote control.
Is the light dimmable?
□ Yes. The light is dimmable. You can adjust the brightness by press and hold
the “bulb” button on the remote control, release until desired brightness.
Can I have a wall switch for the
fan?
□ Yes. You can bypass the remote and install a wall switch to control the
ceiling fan, but you need to purchase an LED compatible “hard wire” dual
wall control to operate fan and the light. You can find a compatible wall
control online at www.homedepot.com with # 799280.
Can I use both wall control and
remote control to operate my
ceiling fan?
□ No. You have to completely get rid of the receiver and remote in order to
work 100% off wall control. You cannot operate the ceiling fan with both of
them.
