Bamboo Engineered SPC Flooring

Limited Residential Warranty

Effective Date: 7-10-2019

Home Legend, LLC warrants the flooring in their original manufactured condition to be free from defects in material and

workmanship including milling, assembly, dimension and grading.

This flooring comes with Residential Limited Warranties. The warranties apply to the original purchaser of the flooring for

residential use and is not transferrable. For the warranties to be effective, the flooring must be installed, cared,

maintained and placed in service conditions according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Limited Lifetime Wear Warranty

Home Legend warrants that for the duration of the service life of the flooring and under normal residential conditions and

uses, the wear layer will not wear-through to the point of exposing the substrate layer of the flooring.

Limited Lifetime Waterproof Warranty

Home Legend warrants that for as long as the flooring is in service, water exposure from normal residential activities and

uses will not damage the structural integrity of the flooring.

Limited Lifetime Structural Integrity Warranty

Home Legend warrants that for as long as the flooring is in service, under normal residential conditions and uses, the

cohesion between the layers of the product will remain intact and the flooring will remain stable.

Definitions:

1. “Residential use” means that the original purchaser owns and resides in the home where the product was installed.

2. “Commercial or otherwise non-residential uses” means other uses besides the above defined Residential use.

3. “Lifetime” means that the warranty applies for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides in the home

where the product was installed.

4. “Finish wear through” is defined as “complete finished wear layer removal exposing the core layer and affecting at

least 10% of a total floor installation project” due to normal foot traffic.

5. “Waterproof” means water exposure resulting from normal residential activities will not damage the integrity and

stability of the flooring.

Bamboo is a natural product with inherent natural characteristics which include: variations in color, tone, graining, mineral

streaks, small knots, or pin worm holes. They are sensitive to light exposure. Depending on the degree of sensitivity, it

will appear darker or lighter over time. Home Legend, LLC does not warrant against naturally occurring variations or

appearance changes in the planks nor due to light source. Any sample, photos or models is for demonstrative purposes

only and they do not create a warranty of any kind that the goods you purchased shall conform exactly to them. Home

Legend, LLC does not warrant against variations between samples, photos or models and the installed flooring.

Terms of Limited Lifetime Warranties:

• Within One Year – Claims submitted for confirmed manufacturing defect within one year of purchase. Home Legend

will arrange a credit based on the applicable purchase price and reasonable labor if professionally installed.

• Year One and Year Five – Claims submitted for confirmed manufacturing defect submitted after year one and before

year five. Home Legend will arrange a credit based on the applicable purchase price and 50% of labor if professionally

installed.

Home Legend will arrange a credit based on the applicable purchase price but no labor cost. After Ten Years - Claims submitted for confirmed manufacturing defect submitted after year ten. Home Legend will provide products to repair the defective areas of the floor but no labor cost. If flooring model is no longer available, other reasonable arrangement will be substituted.

• • • • Floors that have been replaced by a previous claim. Floors which have been installed, then removed for repair or any other reason, and reinstalled. Incidental and consequential damages. By this we mean any loss, expense, or damage other than to the flooring itself that may result from a defect in the flooring.

customer-approved design of equal or greater value or may choose to refund the purchase price of the affected flooring material at Home Legend, LLC’s discretion. We will replace or repair a floor one time. If the replacement or repair fails in the same manner a second time, we conclude the site conditions may not be acceptable for the installation of the flooring.
