LVP and WPC LVP T-molding
T-molding transition piece is used to transition between floors of the same height. It is usually used to provide
expansion gaps for large areas or for when the floor is interrupted by wall openings or permanent fixture such
as a kitchen island. The T-molding does not come with a track. It is to be installed by gluing one side of the
“T” to one section of the flooring. This installation will still provide an expansion gap for the floating floor.
Step 1.
Position the T-molding between two sections of the flooring as
depicted in the picture. Ensure there is expansion gap
between the edge of the free planks and one side of the T-
molding post.
Step 2.
Apply a line of glue on top side of the flooring along the edge.
An alternative is to apply the glue to one of the bottom side of
the T-molding itself..
Step 3.
Place the T-molding between the flooring as depicted in the
picture. Press down on the trim to ensure complete contact
with the adhesive. Clean off excess glue.
