Note: The Controller serial number is located on the label on the inside
front surface of the Controller. See the Network Reference Manual that
accompanied the Controller for additional information.
2. You will be asked to confirm that the entered serial number is correct.
Press 1 (Yes) to confirm or 2 (No) to re-enter the Controller serial number.
3. After confirming that the serial number is correct, the handset displays the
following screen:
Enter your Controller password, then press 0 (OK) to continue.
Note: The default Controller password is “4961.” You should change this
password to one of your own choosing as soon as you finish installing and
setting up your network. The password can be changed via the handset
Setup menu or via a PC connected to a Data Jack. For additional
information, see the Network Reference Manual that accompanied the
Controller.
Note: If the Controller cannot be located, the handset displays the following
screen:
Move closer to the Controller and press 0 to restart the handset registration
process.
