The programmable humidistat can be set in 5% increments, from 35% to 55% humidity. To program the humidity level, press the programmable humidistat button. The humidity level will increase by 5% each time the button is pressed and will be displayed on screen.
HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OIL Use your favorite essential oil to deliver aroma into the air. NOTE: For use with the included HoMedics essential oil pads only. NOTE: Do not leave a filled essential oil pad in the oil tray of the humidifier if it will be out of use for a long period of time. ARE ESSENTIAL OILS SAFE TO USE AROUND PETS? We should always exercise caution when using essential oils around our pets. Keep all essential oil and aromatherapy products (like diffusers) out of reach of pets.
3. Add 5-7 drops of essential oil to the pad. You may use more or less depending on personal preference. WARNING: Only place essential oil on the pad and NOT directly into the tray. 4. Place the oil tray back in its compartment and push to close. The scent will start automatically when the mist is turned on. ABOUT WHITE DUST Use of high mineral content hard water may cause a white mineral residue to accumulate on surfaces in the room near the humidifier. The mineral residue is commonly called “white dust.
CLEANING AND CARE CAUTION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and unplug unit from the outlet. CLEANING THE TRANSDUCER/ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE The transducer/ultrasonic membrane must be cleaned to remove water mineral deposits when the clean transducer/ultrasonic membrane indicator is illuminated on the display. Failure to do so may cause reduced or no mist output. 1. Remove the tank cover and set aside. Lift the tank from the humidifier. 2.
TO CLEAN THE FLOAT Clean the float hinge with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water to remove any calcified water minerals as necessary. TO CLEAN THE TANK Remove the tank cover and water tank from the humidifier base. Pour out any remaining water. Rinse inside the tank with clean water. Every day: Empty and rinse the tank and tank cover before refilling. Every week: To remove any scale or buildup, use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank.

HUMIDOSTAT NUMÉRIQUE PROGRAMMABLE Le réglage par défaut de l’humidistat est CO (mode continu). L’humidistat programmable peut être réglé de 35 % à 55 % d’humidité par incréments de 5 %. UTILISATION HUILE ESSENTIELLE Choisir l’un des 2 échantillons d’huiles essentielles ou une autre huile essentielle au choix pour diffuser la senteur souhaitée. REMARQUE : À utiliser uniquement avec les tampons pour huiles essentielles HoMedics inclus. REMARQUE : Ne pas laisser un tampon imbibé d’huile essentielle dans le plateau d’aromathérapie de l’humidificateur si l’appareil ne va pas être utilisé pendant longtemps.

NETTOYAGE DU FLOTTEUR Nettoyer les articulations des flotteurs avec un mélange à 50/50 de vinaigre blanc et d’eau pour éliminer les dépôts minéraux d’eau calcifiée, selon le besoin. NETTOYAGE DU RÉSERVOIR Retirer le couvercle du réservoir et le réservoir du socle de l’humidificateur. Déverser toute l’eau restante. Rincer l’intérieur du réservoir avec de l’eau propre. PARA LIMPIAR EL FLOTADOR Limpie la bisagra de flotación con una solución 50/50 de vinagre blanco y agua para retirar cualquier mineral calcificado del agua, según sea necesario. PARA LIMPIAR EL TANQUE Quite la tapa del tanque y el tanque de agua de la base del humidificador. Vierta cualquier resto de agua. Enjuague el interior del tanque con agua limpia. A diario: Vacíe y enjuague el tanque y la tapa del tanque antes de rellenarlo.
