Instruction Sheet - Edger Guide

Wear eye protection when using this product

1. Place unit on a flat surface.

2. Using the short bolt, assemble the edger guide as shown in Figure

. Do not tighten wing nut at this point.

3. Remove wing nut, lock washer, flat washer and bolt from the deflector on the trimmer, as shown in Figure

NOTE: Put these parts aside for use later when the edger guide is removed.

4. Keeping deflector in place, lift trimmer slightly off the ground. Align edger as shown in Figure

. Press down firmly on guide with

thumbs and snap down onto tabs of deflector. Ensure that slots are aligned.

5. Using long bolt, install hardware as shown in Figure

6. Adjust edger guide to desired trimming length and tighten wing nut securely as shown in Figure

Installation du guide de coupe 1. Placer l’appareil sur une surface plane. 2. À l’aide du boulon court, sans complètement serrer l’écrou à oreilles, assembler le guide de coupe comme l’indique la figure . . 3. Enlever l’écrou à oreilles, la rondelle d’arrêt, la rondelle plate et le boulon du déflecteur comme l’indique la figure . Avec les pouces, 4. En maintenant le déflecteur en place, soulever légèrement l’appareil du sol.
