SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES Always hold the blower in your right hand during blower operation. Refer to the OPERATION instructions later in this manual for proper position during blower operation and additional information. To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level(s), hearing protection is required. To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting rotating parts, stop the engine before installing or removing attachments.

ASSEMBLY UNPACKING WARNING: This product requires assembly. n Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. OPERATION FILLING THE TANK WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing protection. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries. WARNING: Gasoline and its vapors are highly flammable and explosive.
OPERATION STARTING AND STOPPING WARNING: See Figure 3. Blower should be on a flat, bare surface for starting. Slowly press the primer bulb 10 times. NOTE: After the 10th press, fuel should be visible in the primer bulb. If it is not, continue to press the primer until you see fuel in the bulb. Do not place blower on top of or near loose debris or gravel. Debris may be sucked into blower intake vent resulting in possible damage to the unit and could result in serious personal injury.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE EXHAUST PORT, MUFFLER, AND SPARK ARRESTOR WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing protection. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries.
MAINTENANCE STORING THE PRODUCT HIGH ALTITUDE ENGINE OPERATION Clean all foreign material from the product. Store idle unit indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area that is inaccessible to children. Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts. Please have an authorized service center adjust this engine if it is to be run above 2000 feet. Failure to do so may result in poor engine performance and increased emissions.
TROUBLESHOOTING IF THESE SOLUTIONS DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, CONTACT YOUR AUTHORIZED SERVICING DEALER. PROBLEM Engine fails to start. Engine hard to start. Engine overheats. UTILISATION DÉMARRAGE ET ARRÊT Voir la figure 3. Pour le démarrage, le soufflante doit être posé sur un sol nu et plat. Appuyer lentement 10 fois sur la poire d’amorçage. NOTE : Après la 10e pression, on devrait apercevoir du carburant dans la poire d’amorçage. Sinon, continuer à presser sur l’amorceur jusqu’à voir du carburant dans la poire. Mettre le levier de volet de départen position d’étranglement FULL CHOKE.
ENTRETIEN BUJÍA AVERTISSEMENT : Utiliser exclusivement des pièces identiques à celles d’origine pour les réparations. L’usage de toute autre pièce pourrait créer une situation dangereuse ou endommager l’outil. Ce moteur utilise une bougie Champion RCJ6Y ou l’équivalent avec un écartement d’électrode de 0,63 mm (0,025 po). La bougie doit être remplacée annuellement par une bougie identique. AVERTISSEMENT : Veiller à ne pas fausser le filetage de la bougie. Ceci endommagerait sérieusement l’outil.
ENTRETIEN REMISAGE LE PRODUIT Nettoyer soigneusement le produit. La remiser dans un endroit bien aéré, inaccessible aux enfants. La tenir à l’écart de produits corrosifs, tels que les produits chimiques de jardinage et le sel de dégivrage.
