STARTING AND STOPPING

See Figure 12 - 13.

TO START A COLD ENGINE:

DO NOT squeeze the throttle trigger until the engine starts

and runs.

n Lay the trimmer on a flat, bare surface.

n PRIME - Press the primer bulb 7 times.

n SET the start lever to the START position.

n PULL the rope until the engine starts.

n Allow the engine to run for 15 seconds.

n Squeeze the throttle trigger.

NOTE: Squeezing the throttle trigger releases the start lever

to the RUN position.

TO START A WARM ENGINE:

PULL the rope until the engine starts.

TO STOP THE ENGINE:

Push and hold the STOP button until the engine stops.
