1 Hinweise zu dieser Anleitung Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie ihre HomeMatic Komponenten in Betrieb nehmen. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen auf! Wenn Sie das Gerät anderen Personen zur Nutzung überlassen, übergeben Sie auch diese Bedienungsanleitung. Benutzte Symbole: Achtung! Hier wird auf eine Gefahr hingewiesen. Hinweis.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen dringend den Einsatz eines Schließzylinders mit Notund Gefahrenfunktion. Dann können Sie von außen unabhängig vom Türschlossantrieb mit dem zum Schloss gehörenden Schlüssel aufsperren. Sowohl Handsender als auch Türschlossantrieb arbeiten batteriebetrieben, sind also nicht abhängig vom Vorhandensein eines Netzanschlusses in Türnähe. Die Montage ist ohne Beschädigung des Türblatts möglich (zusätzliche Befestigungslöcher zum Anschrauben an Tür-Innenbeschlag/Türblatt sind jedoch vorhanden).

6 Montage 6.1 Anforderungen an die Tür und den verwendeten Schließzylinder Anforderungen an die Tür: Der Türschlossantrieb kann nur an Türen eingesetzt werden, deren Schlösser und Riegel leichtgängig laufen und nicht klemmen.
Beachten Sie, dass zum Erhalt Ihres Versicherungsschutzes der Hausratversicherung der Zylinder außen nicht überstehen darf, damit er nicht gezogen werden kann. Er muss entweder bündig im (nicht von außen demontierbaren) Türbeschlag stehen oder mit einer Rosette abgedeckt sein. Der Schließzylinder muss über eine Not- und Gefahrenfunktion verfügen. Das heißt, er muss sich unabhängig, ob von innen ein Schlüssel steckt von außen mit einem zweiten Schlüssel öffnen lassen.

6.2 Austausch des Schließzylinders • • • • Öffnen Sie die Tür. Stecken Sie einen Schlüssel auf der Innenseite der Tür in den Schließzylinder. Drehen Sie die Befestigungsschraube vollständig heraus (1)-(2). Bewegen Sie den Schlüssel ein kleines Stück nach links oder rechts (gegen bzw. im Uhrzeigersinn), bis sich der Schließzylinder aus dem Schloss herausziehen lässt (3). • Das Einsetzen eines neuen Schließzylinders geschieht in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge. 6.
Nehmen Sie den Befestigungssockel aus dem Türschlossantrieb heraus. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Muttern im Befestigungssockel verbleiben. Setzen Sie den Befestigungssockel (2) auf den überstehenden Teil des Schließzylinders auf (Türblatt (1)). Fixieren Sie den Befestigungssockel mit der Schraube (1) oben und unten am Schließzylinder. In Einzelfällen kann der Befestigungssockel zusätzlich mit zwei Holzschrauben an der Tür befestigt werden (2). Durch diese beiden Schrauben wird jedoch das Türblatt bzw.
Stecken Sie den Schlüssel in den Schließzylinder, entriegeln Sie das Schloss und bringen Sie den Schlüssel in Neutralstellung (in der man den Schlüssel abziehen könnte). Führen Sie den Türschlossantrieb über den Schlüssel; stecken Sie ihn vollständig auf den Befestigungssockel auf. Befestigen Sie den Türschlossantrieb mit den beiden zu Beginn herausgedrehten Innensechskant-Schrauben (M3 * 14mm).
6.4 Batterien einlegen, Batterien wechseln Entrasten Sie den Batteriefachdeckel an der rechten Seite des Schlossantriebes und nehmen Sie ihn ab. Nehmen Sie gegebenenfalls verbrauchte Batterien heraus. Legen Sie drei (neue) Batterien (Mignon/AA/LR6) polungsrichtig ins Batteriefach ein. Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf und rasten ihn wieder ein. Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme startet der Türschlossantrieb nach dem Einlegen der Batterien mit der Abfrage der Grundeinstellungen.
Batterien/Akkus nicht kurzschließen! Batterien/Akkus nicht ins Feuer werfen. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr! Zerlegen Sie Batterien/Akkus niemals! Normale Batterien dürfen nicht aufgeladen werden. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr! Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z.B. bei Lagerung) entnehmen Sie die eingelegten Batterien/Akkus, um Schäden durch auslaufende Batterien/Akkus zu vermeiden. Wechseln Sie immer den ganzen Satz Batterien/Akkus aus, verwenden Sie nur Batterien/Akkus des gleichen Typs/Herstellers.
7.1.1 Auswahl der Drehrichtung Testen Sie mit dem Handrad das Schloss und den Schließzylinder an Ihrer Tür, um festzustellen, welche Drehrichtung zum Verschließen führt wird (Sperrriegel fährt heraus). Mit der unteren Taste wird die Drehrichtung auf „links“ geschaltet. Die Striche innen im LC-Display rotieren nach links, um Ihnen die Drehrichtung „nach links“ anzuzeigen. Mit der oberen Taste wird die Drehrichtung auf „rechts“ umgeschaltet.
Stellung „Entriegelt“: Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „Entriegeln“, der Antrieb fährt jeweils 90 Grad in Richtung „Entriegeln“ (diese Fahrt ist mehrfach möglich). Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „Verriegeln“, der Antrieb fährt jeweils 90 Grad in Richtung „Verriegeln“ (diese Fahrt ist mehrfach möglich). Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „Setup“, im Display erscheint „3“ für Menüpunkt 3 (Einstellung „Verriegelt”). Jetzt startet die Initialisierungsfahrt in Richtung „Verriegelt“.
Haltezeit: Drücken Sie die Taste „Entriegeln“ kurz, die Haltzeit verlängert sich (ca. 2,5 Sekunden). Drücken Sie die Taste „Verriegeln“ kurz: Kurze Haltezeit Drücken Sie nach diesen Einstellungen kurz die Taste „Setup“. Jetzt werden alle Einstellungen gespeichert, der Türschlossantrieb entriegelt das Schloss und bringt es in Neutralstellung. Im Display erscheinen das Symbol „Entriegelt“ und „M“. Damit sind die Grundeinstellungen beendet. 7.
Eine weitere zusätzliche Fernbedienung/Tastenpaar anmelden/anlernen: Drücken Sie die obere Taste „Entriegeln“ für ca. 2 Sekunden, um den Anlernvorgang zu starten. Im LC-Display erscheint „X“, die Symbole für Funkempfang und „Entriegeln“ blinken (Abbruch des Anlernvorgangs wie oben beschrieben möglich). Drücken Sie nun eine beliebige Taste der „Master“-Fernbedienung, die an die KeyMatic angelernt ist, bis anstatt „X“ ein freier Speicherplatz angezeigt wird, z.B. „2“.
7.3 Löschen von angelernten Fernbedienungen Drücken Sie die untere Taste „Verriegeln“ für ca. 2 Sekunden. Ein erneutes langes Drücken der Taste „Verriegeln“ (Taste ca. 2 Sekunden drücken) beendet den Löschvorgang, ohne einen Speicherplatz zu löschen (z.B. wenn Sie die Taste versehentlich betätigt haben). Erfolgt nach Aufruf des Menüs für 3 Minuten keine Tastenbetätigung am Türschlossantrieb, so wird das Menü automatisch beendet, ohne einen Speicherplatz zu löschen.
7.4.2 Master-Fernbedienung ersetzen Bei Verlust oder Defekt der „Master“-Fernbedienung kann eine andere Fernbedienung als „Master“-Fernbedienung angelernt werden. Dazu gehen Sie wie folgt beschrieben vor: • Demontieren Sie den Türschlossantrieb von der Tür, indem Sie ihn durch Rausdrehen der Befestigungsschrauben vom Befestigungssockel lösen. • Drücken Sie die Taste „Entriegeln“ für ca. 2 Sekunden. Im Display erscheint „X“, die Symbole für Funkempfang und „Entriegeln“ blinken.
8 Bedienung Die Bedienung des Türschlossantriebes kann auf drei verschiedenen Wegen erfolgen: • Bedienung am Gerät • Bedienung über einen HomeMatic Funk-Handsender/Fernbedienung • Bedienung über die HomeMatic Zentrale Im Display des Türschlossantriebes wird die Aktion (Verriegeln, Entriegeln oder Öffnen) dargestellt. Zusätzlich wird die Art der letzten Bedienung angezeigt.

Falls es sich dabei nur um eine im normalen Betrieb (etwa durch Temperatureinflüsse) vorkommende Störung handelt, können Sie das Klemmen des Schlosses möglicherweise durch wiederholte Verriegelungsversuche beseitigen. 8.1.2 Entriegeln Nachfolgend wird die Bedienung am Gerät beschrieben. Analoges Verhalten gilt für die Bedienung mit einer Fernbedienung und über die Zentrale, es wird nur ein anderer Buchstabe/Ziffer im Display angezeigt.
Folgende zwei Möglichkeiten gibt es, das Schloss manuell zu verriegeln/entriegeln: • Mit dem Handrad von innen: Im Ruhezustand ist der Türschlossantrieb ausgekuppelt, d. h. vom Schlüssel mechanisch getrennt. Durch Drehen am Handrad des Türschlossantriebs kann das Schloss verriegelt bzw. entriegelt werden, auch das Öffnen der Tür ist möglich. Die Funktion des Handrades ist also genau so, als wenn Sie einen „normalen“ Schlüssel verwenden würden.

1 Information concerning these instructions Read these instructions carefully before beginning operation with your HomeMatic components. Keep the instructions handy for later consultation! Please hand-over the operating manual as well when you hand-over the device to other persons for use. Symbols used: Attention! This indicates a hazard. Note. This section contains additional important information! 2 Hazard information KeyMatic is a technical system that can fail for various reasons.
We highly recommend that you use a lock cylinder with emergency and hazardfunctionality (double cylinder). This allows the door to be unlocked with the respective key from the outside, independent of the door lock drive. Hand transmitters and the door lock drive work with batteries, which means that the mechanism is not dependent on the existence of a power connection close to the door.

All devices are delivered in a standard configuration.
6 Installation 6.1 Requirements on the door and the used lock cylinder Door requirements: The door lock drive can only be used on doors with locks and bolts that move easily and do not jam.
Note that to attain the household insurance, the cylinder is not to protrude on the outside to ensure that it cannot be pulled. It must either be flush in (unable to be dismantled from outside) the door fitting or covered by a rosette. The lock cylinder must have emergency and hazard functionality (double cylinder). That means that it must be able to be opened with a second key from the outside whether a key is inserted from the inside or not. Some lock cylinders are not to be replaced by the resident.

6.2 Replacing the lock cylinder • • • • Open the door. Insert a key in the lock cylinder on the inside of the door. Turn the fastening screw completely out (1)-(2). Move the key slightly to the left or right (clockwise or counter-clockwise) until the lock cylinder can be pulled out of the lock (3). • Inserting the new lock cylinder is done in reverse order. 6.3 Installing the drive Loosen the screws for the base fastener on the left and right on the door lock drive (1).
Remove the base fastener from the door lock drive. Make sure that the nuts remain in the base fastener. Put the base fastener (2) on the protruding part of the lock cylinder (door leaf (1)). Fasten the base fastener with the screw (1) on top and bottom on the lock cylinder. In certain cases, the base fastener can also be fastened to the door with two woodscrews (2). These two screws will damage the door leaf or the door fittings however.
Insert the key into the lock cylinder, unlock the lock and turn the key to neutral position (where it can be pulled out). Guide the door lock drive over the key; push it completelyonto the base fastener. Fasten the door lock drive with the two Allen screws (M3 * 14 mm) that were screwed out in the beginning of the procedure. Screw the Allen screws in completely using the supplied Allen key; careful not to turn too tight.
6.4 Installing and changing batteries Unlatch the battery compartment cover on the right-hand side of the lock drive and remove it. Take the used batteries out if necessary. Insert three (new) batteries (LR6/ Mignon/AA/LR6), ensuring proper polarity, in the battery compartment. Put the battery compartment cover back and latch it in place. During the initial start up, the door lock drive starts by requesting the basic settings after inserting the batteries.
Make sure that the batteries/rechargeable batteries are inserted the right way. Contact with batteries/rechargeable batteries that are dead or damagedcan cause skin irritation. Use protective gloves in this case. Do not short-circuit the batteries/rechargeable batteries! Do not throw batteries/rechargeable batteries in the fire. There is a danger of explosion! Never take a battery/rechargeable battery apart! Never attempt to charge normal batteries.
7.1.1 Choosing the direction of rotation Use the handwheel to test the lock and the lock cylinder on your door to determinewhich rotational direction is used for locking (bolt moves outward). Use the bottom button to change the direction of rotation to "left". The line in the LC display rotates to the left to indicate direction of rotation "to the left". Use the top button to change the direction of rotation to "right".
"Unlocked" setting: Briefly press the button "Unlock", the drive moves 90 degrees with each press of the button toward "Unlock" (this move can be made multiple times). Briefly press the button "Lock", the drive moves 90 degrees with each press of the button toward "Lock" (this move can be made multiple times). Briefly press the button "Setup", the display shows "3" for menu point 3 ("Locked" setting). The initialization move in the direction of "Locked" begins.
Holding time: Briefly press the button "Unlock", the holding time is extended (approx. 2.5 seconds). Briefly press button "Lock": Short holding timeBriefly press the "Setup" button after these settings are complete.Now, all settings are saved, the door lock drive unlocks the lock and moves it to the neutral position. The display shows the symbol "Unlocked" and "M". This completes the basic settings. 7.
Registering/teaching another additional remote control/button pair: Press the top button "Unlock" for approx. 2 seconds, to start the teach process. The LC display shows "X", the symbols for radio reception and "Unlock"flash (aborting the teach process is possible as described above). Now, press any button on the "Master" remote control, that is already assigned to the KeyMatic, until a free memory location is shown instead of "X", e.g. "2".
7.3 Clearing taught remote controls Press the bottom button "Lock" for approx. 2 seconds. Another long press of the button "Lock" (press button for approx. 2seconds) ends the deletion process, without deleting a memory location (e.g. if the button has been actuated accidentally). If no button actuation occurs for 3 minutes after calling the menu, the menu is exited automatically without deleting a memory location.
7.4.2 Replacing the master remote control If the "Master" remote control is lost or is defective, another remote control can be taught as the "Master remote control. Proceed as follows in this case: • Remove the door lock drive from the door by unscrewing the fastening screws to disconnect it from the base fastener. • Press the button "Unlock" for approx. 2 seconds. The LC display shows "X", the symbols for radio reception and "Unlock" flash. • Turn the handwheel 10 turns in direction "Lock".
8 Operation Door lock drive operation is possible in three different ways: • Device operation • Operation via the HomeMatic Radio hand transmitter/remote control • Operation with the HomeMatic Centre The action (Lock, Unlock or Open) is shown on the display of the door lock drive. The last method of operation is also shown. M 1-K c Operation with the buttons on the device Operation with a HomeMatic remote control, the letter/number shows the memory location of the remote control used for the operation.
If the error is only a fault that occurs during normal operation (because of temperatureinfluence for example), the jam can possible be eliminated by attemptingthe locking procedure again. 8.1.2 Unlocking The following describes operation on the device. The same behavior applies for operation with a remote control and with the Centre but a different letter/number is shown on the display. Press the button "Unlock" on the door lock drive (top button). "M" is shown on the display.
Locking/unlocking the lock can be done in the following two ways: • From inside with the handwheel: In idle status, the door lock drive is disengaged,i.e. mechanically separate from the key. By turning the handwheel of the door lock drive, the lock can be locked or unlocked and the door can also be opened. The function of the handwheel is therefore the same is if you used a "normal" key. The door lock drive must be in idle status(motor not moving).
