1 Hinweise zu dieser Anleitung Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie Ihre Homematic Komponenten in Betrieb nehmen. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen auf! Wenn Sie das Gerät anderen Personen zur Nutzung überlassen, übergeben Sie auch diese Bedienungsanleitung. Benutzte Symbole: Achtung! Hier wird auf eine Gefahr hingewiesen. Hinweis.
Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Es enthält keine durch den Anwender zu wartenden Teile. Im Fehlerfall schicken Sie das Gerät an den Service. Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es von außen erkennbare Schäden z. B. am Gehäuse, an Bedienelementen oder an den Anschlussbuchsen bzw. eine Funktionsstörung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfall lassen Sie das Gerät von einer Fachkraft prüfen. Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht gestattet.
Benutzen Sie für die Stromversorgung des Gerätes ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Originalnetzteil (5 VDC/1500 mA). Das Gerät darf nur an eine leicht zugängliche Netz-Steckdose angeschlossen werden. Bei Gefahr ist der Netzstecker zu ziehen. Verlegen Sie Kabel stets so, dass diese nicht zu Gefährdungen für Menschen und Haustiere führen können. Jeder andere Einsatz, als in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebene, ist nicht bestimmungsgemäß und führt zu Gewährleistungs- und Haftungsausschluss.

4 Allgemeine Systeminformation zu Homematic Dieses Gerät ist Teil des Homematic Haussteuersystems und arbeitet mit dem bidirektionalen Funkprotokoll BidCoS®. Alle technischen Dokumente und Updates finden Sie stets aktuell unter www.homematic.com. 5 Inbetriebnahme Um das Funk LAN Gateway in Betrieb zu nehmen, führen Sie die folgenden Schritte durch: • Montage • Verbinden mit dem Netzwerk • Anschließen an die Stromversorgung • Einbinden ins Netzwerk 5.
Verwenden Sie für die Wandmontage die zwei mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübel. Stellen Sie bei der Auswahl des Montageortes und beim Bohren in der Nähe vorhandener Schalter oder Steckdosen sicher, dass in der Wand keine Leitungen verlaufen. • Halten Sie die beiliegende Bohrschablone an die vorgesehene Montagestelle und richten Sie die Bohrschablone senkrecht bzw. waagerecht aus. • Markieren Sie die Bohrlöcher A und B auf der Bohrschablone mit einem Stift durch die Bohrschablone an der Wand.
J J 5.2 Funk LAN Gateway mit dem Netzwerk verbinden • Ziehen Sie zunächst die Abdeckkappe nach oben ab. • Schließen Sie das Funk LAN Gateway mit dem mitgelieferten Netzwerkkabel (F) an Ihren DSL-Router bzw. an Ihr Kabelmodem an.
Um eine sichere Bedienung des Gerätes gewährleisten zu können, wird ein Ethernetkabel mit mindestens der Kategorie 5 (CAT5 SF/UTP) benötigt. 5.3 Funk LAN Gateway an die Stromversorgung anschließen Um Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden, benutzen Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Originalnetzteil des Funk LAN Gateways für die Stromversorgung (5 VDC/1500 mA). • Schließen Sie das beiliegende Steckernetzteil (E) an das Funk LAN Gateway an und stecken Sie es in die Steckdose.
Gehen Sie dafür wie folgt vor: • Öffnen Sie Ihren Webbrowser. • Geben Sie in Ihrem Browser die URL „http://homematic-ccu2“ ein. Anschließend gelangen Sie auf die Startseite Ihrer WebUI. • Klicken Sie dort unter „Einstellungen“ auf „Systemsteuerung“. • Danach klicken Sie im nächsten Fenster auf „LAN-Gateway“.
• Wählen Sie den Typ „RF: Homematic RF-LAN Gateway“ aus. • Entnehmen Sie die Seriennummer und den Zugriffscode Ihres Funk LAN Gateways Ihren Notizen oder den Aufklebern auf der Gehäuserückseite. • Geben Sie diese in den entsprechenden Feldern ein. • Bestätigen Sie anschließend mit „OK“. Ihr Funk LAN Gateway wird in der Bedienoberfläche angezeigt. Um es zu aktivieren, klicken Sie auf „Übernehmen“ und führen Sie einen Neustart Ihrer CCU durch.
• Klicken Sie dafür auf „Einstellungen“ „Zentralen-Wartung“ steuerung“ und melden sich neu an. „System„Neustart“ Anschließend müssen Sie alle Geräte, die über das Funk LAN Gateway erreicht werden sollen, mit dem Funk LAN Gateway über die WebUI verbinden. • Klicken Sie dafür in der Geräteansicht („Einstellungen“ „Systemsteuerung“ „LAN Gateway“) bei dem jeweiligen Gerät unter „Aktionen“ auf „Einstellen“. • In dieser Ansicht wählen Sie das Funk LAN Gateway aus und bestätigen mit „OK“.

Die Info LED kann Fehler- und Alarmmeldungen der CCU wiedergeben. Hierbei sind Verzögerungen bis zu 10 s für die Übertragung der Meldungen möglich. 7 Werkseinstellungen des Gerätes wiederherstellen Die Werkseinstellungen des Homematic Funk LAN Gateways können manuell wieder hergestellt werden. Dabei gehen alle Einstellungen und Informationen verloren. Bevor Sie die Werkseinstellungen des Gerätes wieder herstellen, löschen Sie es zuerst aus der Homematic Bedienoberfläche WebUI.
8 Duty Cycle Der Duty Cycle beschreibt eine gesetzlich geregelte Begrenzung der Sendezeit von Geräten im 868 MHz Bereich. Das Ziel dieser Regelung ist es, die Funktion aller im 868 MHz Bereich arbeitenden Geräte zu gewährleisten. In dem von uns genutzten Frequenzbereich 868 MHz beträgt die maximale Sendezeit eines jeden Gerätes 1 % einer Stunde (also 36 Sekunden in einer Stunde). Die Geräte dürfen bei Erreichen des 1 %-Limits nicht mehr senden, bis diese zeitliche Begrenzung vorüber ist.
9 Wartung und Reinigung Das Produkt ist wartungsfrei. Überlassen Sie eine Reparatur einer Fachkraft. Reinigen Sie das Produkt mit einem weichen, sauberen, trockenen und fusselfreien Tuch. Für die Entfernung von stärkeren Verschmutzungen kann das Tuch leicht mit lauwarmem Wasser angefeuchtet werden. Verwenden Sie keine lösemittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel, das Kunststoffgehäuse und die Beschriftung kann dadurch angegriffen werden.

1 Information about this manual Read this manual carefully before beginning operation with your Homematic components. Keep the manual handy for later consultation! If you hand over the device to other persons for use, please hand over the operating manual as well. Symbols used: Attention! This indicates a hazard. Note. This section contains important additional information.
Do not open the device. It does not contain any parts that can be maintained by the user. In the event of an error, have the device checked by an expert. Do not use the device if there are signs of damage to the housing, control elements or connecting sockets, for example, or if it demonstrates a malfunction. If you have any doubts, have the device checked by an expert or by our service department.
For power supply, only use the original power supply unit (5 VDC/1500 mA) delivered with the device. The device may only be connected to an easily accessible power socket outlet. The mains plug must be pulled out if a hazard occurs. Always lay cables in such a way that they do not become a risk to people and domestic animals. Using this device for any purpose other than that described in this operating manual does not fall within the scope of intended use and shall invalidate any warranty or liability.

4 General system information about Homematic This device is part of the Homematic home control system and works with the bidirectional BidCoS® wireless protocol. All current technical documents and updates are provided at www.homematic.com. 5 Start-up To start up your Wireless LAN Gateway, please proceed as follows: • Mount the device • Establish network connection • Connect to the power supply • Integrate the device into network 5.

J J 5.2 Connecting the Wireless LAN Gateway to the network • First pull the cap up and off the Wireless LAN Gateway. • Connect the Wireless LAN Gateway to your DSL router or cable modem using the network cable supplied (F). To ensure secure operation of the device, an Ethernet cable of at least category 5 (CAT5 SF/UTP) is required.
5.3 Connecting the Wireless LAN Gateway to the power supply For the power supply, only use the Wireless LAN Gateway original power supply unit (5 VDC/1500 mA) delivered with the device in order to avoid damage. • Attach the supplied plug-in main adapter (E) to the Wireless LAN Gateway and plug it into the socket outlet. The device may only be connected to a freely accessible power socket outlet. The mains plug must be pulled out if a hazard occurs. 5.

Therefore, please see your notes or the stickers at the back of the device. • Please enter the details in the corresponding fields. • Confirm with "OK". Your Wireless LAN Gateway will be displayed in the user interface.

The Info LED provides information about error and alarm messages of the CCU. The transmission of messages may be delayed by max. 10s. 7 Restore factory settings of the device The factory settings of the Homematic Wireless LAN Gateway can be restored manually. If you do this, you will lose all your settings. Before restoring the factory settings, please delete the device from the user interface WebUI first.
8 Duty Cycle The duty cycle is a legally regulated limit of the transmission time of devices in the 868 MHz range. The aim of this regulation is to safeguard the operation of all devices working in the 868 MHz range. In the 868 MHz frequency range we use, the maximum transmission time of any device is 1% of an hour (i.e. 36 seconds in an hour). Devices must cease transmission when they reach the 1% limit until this time restriction comes to an end.
9 Maintenance and cleaning The product does not require any maintenance. Enlist the help of an expert to carry out any maintenance or repairs. Clean the product using a soft, lint-free cloth that is clean and dry. You may dampen the cloth a little with lukewarm water in order to remove more stubborn marks. Do not use any detergents containing solvents, as they could corrode the plastic housing and label.
