OPERATION

Start the engine (see page23).

2. Plug

the appliance.

Be sure that all appliances are in good working order before

connecting them to the generator. If an appliance begins to operate

abnormally, becomes sluggish, or stops suddenly, turn

off

the ignition

switch immediately. Then disconnect the appliance and examine

for

signs of malfunction.

Most motorized appliances require more than their rated wattage for

startup.

overloaded circuit causes the

circuit protector to switch

OFF,

reduce the electrical load on

the

circuit, wait

few minutes

and

then

reset the

circuit protector.
