STARTING THE ENGINE
STARTING THE ENGINE
1.
Make sure that all appliances are disconnected from the
AC
receptacles.
2.
Turn the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
3.
Turn the choke lever to the
CLOSED
position.
4.
Turn the engine switch to the
ON
position.
5.
Pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
Do
not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return
it
gently to prevent damage
to
the starter or housing.
6.As
the engine warms up, slowly turn the choke lever to the OPEN
position.
