Adjust the control lever friction
adjuster so the control lever will hold
a constant throttle setting while
cruising.
To shift gears, move the control lever
to select the F (forward), N (neutral),
or R (reverse) gear.
The control lever cannot be moved
from the N (neutral) position unless
the neutral release lever is squeezed
(side-mount/panel-mount types).
Moving the control lever beyond the
gear selection range increases engine
speed.
