8. MAINTENANCE

The purpose of inspection and maintenance is to keep the snowblower in

the best operating condition.

Inspect or service as scheduled in the table below.

Shut off the engine before performing inspection and

maintenance, and remove the spark plug wire from the-plug so the engine

cannot be started. If the engine must be run, make sure the area is well

ventilated. The exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas.

CAUTION:

l Place the snowblower on ‘a level surface before performing inspection

and maintenance.

l Use only genuine HONDA parts or their equivalent. The use of replace-

ment parts which are not of equivalent quality may damage the

snowblower.
