6. While holding the stopper bolt, tighten the lock
nut.
TORQUE: 5-8 N*m
( 3.6-5.8 ft-lb)
7. With the control lever in the full throttle position,
recheck at the outboard motor that the throttle
arm is against the full throttle stop.
THROTTLE FRICTION ADJUSTMENT
The operating load of the remote control lever can
be adjusted by turning the adjusting screw. Adjust
the load according to your preference as described
below.

1. Remove the cover as shown.
2. Adjust the handle operation load by turning the
adjusting screw right or left.
3. Use the guide plate (provided with the kit) and
install the cover and the housing lead. Follow
the instructions on the guide plate carefully.
