Pull

starting:

Make sure that the

circuit breaker

in the

OFF

position. The

generator may be hard to

start

load

connected.

Turn the fuel valve lever to the ON position.

Pull the choke knob to the

CLOSED

position. (with

cold and warm

engine)

Make sure the auto-throttle switch

in the OFF position, or more

time will be required for warm up.

Turn the engine switch to the ON position.

Pull the recoil starter grip slowly until the resistance is felt, then pull

briskly.

Push the choke knob to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.

you wish to use the auto-throttle system, turn the auto-throttle

switch to the

position after the engine has warmed up for

minutes.
