Program how and when the vehicle doors automatically lock and unlock. Default Lock/Unlock Setting Default Lock Setting All doors and the hatch are preset to lock when your vehicle reaches about 10 mph. 4.

When you start the engine, the MID shows the main display. To toggle between the MID displays, press the Info button ( / ) for the main displays, and press SEL/RESET for the sub-displays.

It is always on and consists of the Ecological Drive Display (on the MID), Ambient Meter, ECON button, and ECON indicator. Deceleration Acceleration Activating the ECON Mode 1. Press ECON. 3. 12 Insight TRG:ATG_NEW STYLE 11/4/2011 11:02 AM Page 7 ECO Assist Scoring Monitors the fuel efficiency of your driving style in real time and converts results into leaves, which are displayed in a series of five “plant” icons on the MID. Once you start your vehicle, make sure the MID shows the Ecological Drive Display on the display to view your Eco Assist score in real time. AUTO IDLE STOP Shuts the engine off at a stop in order to maximize fuel efficiency.

Useful for engine braking, when driving in hilly terrain, or cornering. Paddle Modes Pull (-) to shift down. TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures. How It Works Each tire valve stem contains a TPMS sensor. Pull (+) to shift up.

Try some of these to familiarize yourself with the voice command system. Press and release the Talk button before you give a command. Locate Points of Interest Make Audio Selections Say a command like “Display restaurant” to see restaurant icons appear on the map. Say a command like “Radio 97.1 FM” to select that station.

For other destination options, see your Navigation Manual. Press and release the Talk button before you give a command. 1. Say “Display menu.” Say “Address.” 4. Say the entire street address number, followed by “OK” if necessary. For example, “1-2-34 OK.” 2. Say “Street,” then say the street name on the next screen.

Works in cities where a clear FM traffic signal is available. Press and release the Talk button before you give a command. Press the HFL Talk button, and say “Call” or “Dial” to continue. Store up to 50 names and their phone numbers, which can be used as speed dials. Press and release the HFL Talk button before you give a command. 1. Say “Phonebook.” 3. Say the name of the contact, and then the phone number. STORE 2.

Airbags can help protect you in some types of collisions, but they do not provide protection in all collisions. Always make sure you and your passengers wear seat belts, and that young children are properly secured in a child seat or booster in the rear seat.
