To shift gears, move the control lever
to select
F (forward), N (neutral) and
R (reverse) gears.
The control lever cannot be moved
from the
N (neutral) position unless
the neutral release lever is squeezed
(side-mountlpanel-mount types).
Moving the control lever beyond the
gear selection range increases engine
speed.
