4. Loosen the vapor separator drain
bolt and drain the vapor separator.
5. After draining thoroughly, tighten
the drain bolt securely.
6. Install the drain hose to the
silencer case.
7. Drain the fuel tank into an
approved gasoline container, or
If
you need to store fuel in the fuel
tank, you can extend fuel storage
life by filling the fuel tank with
fresh gasoline and adding a fuel
stabilizer that is formulated for
that purpose.
If using the portable fuel tank
(optional equipment), firmly close
the
fuel tank vent knob.
Engine Oil
1. Change the engine oil and the oil
filter
(p. 64 - 65 ).
2. Remove the spark plugs (p. 69 ),
and remove the clip from the
emergency stop switch.
3. Pour a tablespoon (5 - 10 cm3) of
clean engine oil into each cylinder.
4. Rotate the engine a few
revolutions to distribute the oil in
the cylinders.
5. Reinstall the spark plugs (p. 70 ).
