Battery Removal
WARNING: Battery posts, terminals, and relate
d accessories contain
lead and lead compounds. Wash hands after handling.
1. Remove the four 6 mm flange
bolts, and remove
the cover.
2. Remove the negative (–) cable
from the battery negative (–)
terminal fir
st, and then remove
the positive (+) cable from the
battery positive (+) terminal.
3.
Remove the flange nuts, and remove the battery set plate.
4. Remove the battery from the battery tray.
This symbol on the battery means that this product must
not be treated as
household waste.
An improperly disposed of battery can be harmful to the environment
and human health.
Always confirm local regulations for battery disposal.
